Invisalign

Breakthrough technology that lets you have the smile you've always wanted — without the hassle of braces.
Go Wireless.

The clear alternative to metal braces. By using a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign straightens your teeth with results you'll notice sooner than you think. The course of treatment involves changing aligners approximately every two weeks, moving your teeth into straighter position step by step, until you have a more beautiful smile. And unlike braces, these clear aligners can be removed while you eat and brush your teeth as usual.

Less treatment time. An average Invisalign course of treatment takes about a year. You'll see your Invisalign Certified Dentist every 6 to 8 weeks for adjustments and to check progress. At regular intervals, you'll receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to you, determined by your doctor for your course of treatment.

Clear and comfortable. Since Invisalign is practically invisible, there's no unwarranted attention to your mouth. In fact, very few people will notice at all—unless you tell them. They're comfortable to wear and remove easily when you eat, brush, and floss.

Get that gorgeous smile you’ve always wanted. For more information visit www.invisalign.com or give us a call. We’d be happy to sit down with you and show you how Invisalign can improve your smile.

Rapid Braces
Rapid Braces is an affordable and quick treatment option to correct crowded, overlapped teeth or teeth that have gaps. Canandaigua Dental Health utilizes the latest technology combined with time-tested orthodontics procedures to move your teeth quickly and safely.

The Rapid Braces technique uses small clear braces along with a retainer. The clear braces blend into your teeth making them nearly invisible.

With Rapid Braces, you will visit us usually every 4 weeks for a 15 to 30 minute appointment, and a little longer for the initial appointment to be fitted. Usually treatment is completed in 10 visits or less.

Get the smile you’ve dreamed about—in as little as six-months. Call for more information or to schedule a consultation appointment. We’d be pleased to show you how this up-and-coming technology can work for you.

Headache Prevention
Migraine prevention – Headache prevention

“It could be just what the doctor ordered for 40 million Americans who suffer from tension headaches and migraines.”  Diane Sawyer, Good Morning, America 09/05/01

People who suffer from migraine and tension headaches will tell you it’s one of the most painful and debilitating conditions a person can have. What patients often can’t or won’t tell you is that they don’t suffer a full blown “attack” headache everyday. Yet they suffer at least some degree of pain EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THEIR LIVES.

For many this pain has become so normal that they don’t even know what a day without any pain would feel like. In other words, it has become “normal” to feel less than fine every day.

New breakthrough offers hope.
It’s called the NTI tension suppression system. This new NON-DRUG treatment has recently been approved by the FDA and is available from Dr. Brian Gagliardi at Canandaigua Dental Health.

Even if you don’t suffer full blown migraines, but instead you feel some low grade head, jaw or neck ache or pain, then NTI may be your answer. This treatment is now available at Canandaigua Dental Health. Call for a complimentary consultation today. Find out what the NTI can do for you. Relief may be just a phone call away.

Technology
Canandaigua Dental Health’s number one goal is to provide you with a comfortable dental experience. We know patients are sometimes apprehensive, but advances in technology have made procedures far more comfortable than they were in the past. We offer a number of specialized procedures designed to increase your comfort in the chair. You can relax and watch your favorite movie or TV show, listen to a wide array of music on Internet radio with special headphones, or view information about treatment options through our customized patient education videos.

Our office technology includes:

DIAGNOdent Laser
Laser cavity detection that can catch a cavity before an x-ray, DIAGNOdent is accurate and reliable. Today more than ever, patients place a high value on healthy and attractive teeth. In order to keep teeth healthy, care at the earliest possible stage is essential. DIAGNOdent aids in early detection of cavities, enabling patients to protect and preserve their teeth. This technology is also ideal for kids who may not like to sit still in the chair for more than 15 minutes—a great way to ensure a favorable treatment experience early on for our youngest patients.

Soft-Tissue Laser
Our soft-tissue laser is an extremely precise, less traumatic method for manipulating oral tissues to address and treat a variety of dental conditions. Currently, we use the soft-tissue laser to reshape cosmetically the architecture of the gums for crown and bridge work. Most recently, we have had success using the laser to treat canker and cold sores with immediate pain relief . Ask us if this new technology is right for you.

CEREC
Permanent crown restoration in a single visit.
While most traditional crown restorations require more thanone trip to the dentist, CEREC technology allows thefabrication and restoration of a permanent crown in a single appointment. CEREC restoration technique utilizes strong tooth colored ceramic materials—materials that closely match the tooth’s natural strength and function. So CEREC technology is not only convenient, it’s healthy. No second trip to the dentist, fewer injections, less drilling.

CEREC technology can also repair chipped, discolored or decayed teeth. CEREC is capable of producing any single tooth restoration. Chipped or discolored front teeth can be repaired with beautiful CEREC porcelain crowns or veneers. CEREC technology can enhance your smile and give you the highest quality restorative care.  Click here for more information about CEREC Technology.

Sedation Dentistry
At Canandaigua Dental Health, patient comfort is a priority. If you fear needles, have sensitive teeth or just dread dental procedures, talk to us about your concerns. We offer oral sedation dentistry so you can feel calm and relaxed in the dental chair while we work on giving you a healthy, new smile.

The process involves prescribing a sedative drug to be taken by mouth about an hour before the planned procedure. When the medication takes effect, you will become extremely relaxed and drift into a calm and sedated state. Our experienced team will continue to monitor you throughout the entire appointment. Once the medication wears off, most patients feel no discomfort or residual effects from the dental visit.

Oral sedation is safe and effective, but can last for several hours after the appointment. It is important to remember that on the day of the appointment you will need someone to bring you to our office, take you home and stay with you until you have completely recovered.

If you are nervous about dental care procedures, call us. We can help alleviate the discomfort and fear that are often barriers to better oral health.
